🚗 Do you offer mobile window tinting services?
The short answer is No, mainly because window tinting should be done in a sealed, dust-free area where wind can't blow dirt/specs onto the film during installation.
However, if there is a reason you cant bring the car to us, then just get in touch and we will aim to accommodate for your convenience where we can.
(Callouts must be to a dust free, enclosed working space to maintain our quality standards)
📸 Can I see examples of your previous work?
Absolutely! We regularly update our Instagram page with photos of our latest projects, showcasing the quality and variety of our work. Check us out here Instagram Page

🗑️ Can car window tint be removed?
Yes, window tint can be removed as the process is completely reversible — but the process is slow, messy, and requires care. If not done properly, you risk damaging the defroster lines on the rear windscreen, which could leave you without demisting functionality on cold days.
So if you're thinking about removing your tint, let us take care of it for you. 👔 🧰
⏳ How long does it take for window tint to fully cure?
Window tint typically takes between 3 to 5 days to fully cure, depending on factors like weather, film type, and how well the vehicle is kept clean and dry.
In warmer, sunnier conditions, curing may happen faster. In colder or more humid environments, it could take up to a couple of weeks.
During the curing period, it’s normal to see haziness, bubbles, or a slightly cloudy appearance — these should disappear as the moisture between the film and glass evaporates 🎓 📝
🚗 Can window tint be applied to any car?
Yes, window tint can be applied to almost any car, no matter the make or model. At Tinted MCR, our professionals fit the tint to your windows perfectly. Some special or older cars might need custom work, but regardless, we’ve got you covered. ✅🚗🚙🏎️
🚗 What is Chameleon tint?
Chameleon tint is a type of window film that changes color depending on the angle of light and viewing perspective. It creates a shifting, iridescent effect showing hues like purple, blue, red, green, even gold, giving your car a unique, eye-catching look.
Chameleon tint offers a dynamic, colour-changing finish that stands out while still providing heat rejection and UV protection. 🎨🚗✨
⚪️⚫️ Can i choose how dark i want my tint?
Yes, you can definitely choose how dark you want your tint.
We offer a range of shades to suit your preferences — from lighter films that offer a subtle look and UV protection, to darker options for added privacy and heat rejection. We’ll also make sure your choice complies with UK tint laws, so you get the look you want without any legal issues.
Let us know what style or level of privacy you're after, and we’ll help you pick the perfect shade
🙋 💯✅🙌
⌛ How long after tinting can I roll my windows down?
We recommend waiting at least 2 to 3 days before rolling your windows down after getting them tinted. This gives the film enough time to properly adhere to the glass and begin curing.
Rolling them down too soon can cause the tint to peel, bubble, or shift — especially around the edges.
To be safe, follow our aftercare instructions and if you're unsure, send us a message here 💯🛡️
Factory tinted windows are installed by the car maker and usually have a light, basic tint for heat and UV protection.
Our Premium tint is applied later and offers more options in shade and performance, including better heat rejection and UV blocking.

Yes, window tint helps protect your car’s interior from fading caused by harmful UV rays and heat.
By blocking a significant amount of UV radiation and reducing interior temperatures, tinted windows prevent damage to upholstery, dashboard, and other surfaces.
This helps keep your car looking newer and fresher for longer.
🌞🌿 ✨
Yes, window tint blocks up to 99% of harmful UV rays from the sun. This protection helps prevent skin damage, reduces interior fading, and keeps your car cooler. High-quality tint films are specially designed to filter out UV radiation, making them an effective solution for both safety and comfort. ☀️🛡️🚗
Window tinting can reduce visibility at night, especially with darker shades.
However, most high-quality tints are made to provide heat and UV protection while minimizing any impact on visibility compared to standard aftermarket tint.
☀️🛡️🚗
Yes, both headlights and taillights can be tinted to give your vehicle a sleek, custom look. However, it’s important to follow UK road laws—tints must not reduce light output beyond legal limits to ensure safety and MOT compliance.
At Tinted MCR, we offer professional headlight and taillight tinting using high-quality films that enhance style while keeping your car road legal. 😉🚨
➡️⬅️ Is window tint applied to the inside or outside?
Window tint is applied to the inside of the glass. This protects the film from weather, debris, and damage, helping it last longer and maintain a clean finish. At Tinted MCR, we ensure professional, high-quality installation for maximum durability and a flawless look.
☀️🛡️🚗
Yes, car window tinting is legal in the UK, but it must meet specific regulations.
The front windscreen must let at least 75% of light through.
Front side windows must allow at least 70%.
There are no restrictions on the rear side windows or the back windscreen.
Our experts are here to help you stay compliant with UK tint laws so don't worry well remind you 😉🚨
Window tinting usually takes between 2 to 3 hours, depending on the size of the vehicle and the number of windows being tinted.
Our professional installers ensure the film is applied carefully for a smooth, bubble-free finish.
